History of the Department: Since its inception in 1995, The Department takes pride in its commendable performance vis-à-vis major developmental indicators such as student intake and the number of teachers. At present, it has 18 whole-time teachers. Most of the distinguished faculty members have doctoral degrees. The Institution has a total intake capacity of 480 students.
Bachelor of Arts or BA is an undergraduate program in arts. There are various disciplines such as Sociology, Hindi, Sanskrit, History, Economics, Philosophy, Home Science, Political Science, and Psychology in which BA can be pursued with us. The course can be pursued right after passing class 12th. BA course can be pursued in a full-time, part-time, correspondence, or distance education mode but we offer the full-time course only. It is mandatory to study three subjects along with a few elective subjects. The subjects will vary depending on the selected subject.
